Full Database mdb Instructions
Before we proceed to the mdb instruction below, we would like to express the importance of a BASIC listing import rather than a detail listing import. If your PMD site is either new or have no listings, importing this database will help with user confidence that your directory is worth using because they see existing listings. You are basically using this database as a FREE listing to populate your directory so why add anything more than the basic contact information. This way, businesses will tend to upgrade their listing to stand out from the crowd. You can also place Google Adsense codes within your free listings to help generate an extra income. Once the business upgrade their account to a PAID listing, it is suggested that you remove the Google Adsense for that membership level.
 

Getting Ready:

Your file will be sent via FTP or you be getting a link as to where to receive your file. These files are only live for 24 hours due to the amount of files stolen on our last server. The file you receive will look like the file below all you have to do is double click it and the file will self open.

 

STEP 1

Please do not mess about with any of the other buttons here as it will delete all information and you will end up with a blank database. Please double click the dbo_ex_comps it is clearly marked and is the only 1 there. This will bring up the full database in the selection of the order you purchased.

 

STEP 2

All you need to do here is now create your own CSV file the way you wont it. High light the content you require and copy and paste it into Excel the way you wont. Its simple and easy to use and will create the database the way you require.

Create your own database the way you like it then all you have to do is import it into PMD. Its really that simple.
